The Campbell Soup Company was founded in the United States in 1869. Later, in 1898, the red and white labeled concentrated canned soup was launched and won a gold medal at the Paris Exposition held in 1900. To commemorate this, a gold emblem, known as a medallion, still appears in the center of the can today.
In American supermarkets, there are so many kinds of Campbell's soup cans on the shelves that you can see a red and white wall.
